Take Your Apprenticeship to a Metal Level
Because the program is intended for current sheet metal practitioners, the coursework differs slightly from 91Ƭ’s typical requirements for earning an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree. This is done as a way to honor the educational background of students who come from different apprenticeship programs.
Two Precious Metals: Apprenticeship and Degree
This exciting 91Ƭ/JATC partnership allows sheet metal apprentices to earn an AAS, in person or online, while also earning their professional certificate. Once a Journeyman’s card has been issued, a maximum of 47 credit hours can be applied toward the AAS.
What You Can Do with a Plumber & Pipefitter Trade Degree
No matter what your dream job is, you’ll gain the building blocks to earn your bachelor’s degree at a four-year university or start your career right away in positions like:
