You can earn your four-year degree and never leave 91ÖÆÆ¬³§â€™s campus. Once you complete all your general education classes, you can complete both the ADN from 91ÖÆÆ¬³§ and BSN from KU. This saves you time and money! 

You receive quality education as our two nursing education powerhouses partner together. Students take face-to-face instruction at 91ÖÆÆ¬³§ while taking KU Nursing classes online.

Next Steps

  • Apply to 91ÖÆÆ¬³§ and declare the Pre-Nursing degree.
  • Complete all required prerequisite courses with a 2.5 GPA or higher for KU Admission. General education credits from other regionally-accredited institutions may be accepted.

  • Complete 37 hours of nursing curriculum face-to-face at 91ÖÆÆ¬³§ and about 30 credits of nursing curriculum online through the KU School of Nursing.

Program Details

  • The nursing partnership model is accredited by the , the  (ACEN) and the  (°ä°ä±··¡).
  • Students may enter the 91ÖÆÆ¬³§ and KU nursing program in the fall or spring. 
  • A student cannot progress in the KU Partnership if they do not progress in the 91ÖÆÆ¬³§ program.
  • The 91ÖÆÆ¬³§/KU Partnership is for students seeking both an associate and bachelor’s degree in nursing. 
  • Clinicals are included in the 91ÖÆÆ¬³§â€¯curriculum.
  • KU classes can be taken in the summer. 
  • Students are required to take a minimum of six credit hours within the KU nursing curriculum each semester in addition to the semester coursework for 91ÖÆÆ¬³§.
  • Graduate with your ADN & BSN at the same time.

Nursing Concurrent Enrollment Pathway

91ÖÆÆ¬³§ offers an RN to BSN and RN to MSN Bridge Nursing Concurrent Enrollment Pathway (NCEP). Building on the academic foundation of the RN program, courses are taken 100% online concurrently (with clinical, practicum and immersion hours completed locally) during RN coursework.

NCEP courses help you develop advanced clinical reasoning, problem-solving skills and a commitment to earn a follow-up degree. This can give you a distinct advantage in job interviews. 

Get Ready to Lead

MSNs are the new standard for nursing leadership positions and is the required degree for certain roles in clinical and community settings. You can also develop your skills towards a career in public health or informatics. You can use this NCEP to move into the dual degree MBNMSN-L, an accelerated pathway toward an MBNMSN. The required BSN courses are prerequisites that prepare students for MSNs.

Pathway requirements and pricing are subject to change. Pre-licensure nursing students who begin or resume attendance may not be eligible to utilize all institutional aid/scholarships for tuition and fees once accepted into the clinical portion of the program.
